Mom Heart Conference - Part 4

Friday, March 2, 2012

Where you are is your spiritual act of worship; wherever you are, whether you're single/ married.
When you're married; be loyal and loving to your spouse. God created us to be our husband's suitable helper. If you have something important to say to your husband, don't say it right after he step his foot on the door. Wait until he rest, eat, then say it, "Honey, the window is broken, etc."
Proverbs 21:9 "Better to live on a corner of the roof than share a house with a quarrelsome wife."
James 1:19-20 "  My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, because human anger does not produce the righteousness that God desires..

Great women/ men take responsibility of their own physical, spiritual, emotional, and relational well being.
No matter which season of life we are in: we need to be in His Word and prayers.

We don't have to be a lone ranger.
Who are we hanging out with? Whose voices influencing our life? And why? We need to be around people who make us want to be around God
One thing that I'm very thankful is that I didn't go by myself. God also called two dear friends of mine to come along with me. We had a great sharing, learning, and encouraging one another. As a follow up, we're praying about keeping each other accountable and encouraging one another through e-mails (got the idea from Good Morning Girls) and  maybe meet up once in a while. At this season of life, when we got young kids, we found it hard to just leave the kids for 3-4 hours with daddy, who is tired from working too plus they get sick often so when A is well B is sick and so on and so on so finding time to meet is when all the kids are healthy is almost impossible.  Still praying and praying about it.

Closing Challenge:
Pursue relationship to OPEN our children's heart with GRACE
Exercise influence to FILL our children's heart with TRUTH
Create culture to HOLD our children's hearts with LOVE

Last but not least, I came home with these goodies: YUMMMM

"So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness." Colossians 2:6-7

That's it! May this be a blessing to you as it does to me.
