Back to blogging

I am back!
I actually finished our tax a while ago but it's hard to get back on something after not doing it for a while. In addition, many things happened lately: two good friends' weddings and one dear friend passed away, which affected us spiritually, emotionally, and physically.

My sweet friend who just passed away was a wonderful, sweet, wise, and godly woman. She left behind three most compassionate, joyful, and caring children. How I wish she has a blog so I could still read her thoughts and feast on her stories.

That becomes my motivation to come back to this space. I want our children and grandchildren to know us, our thoughts and stories. I pray that my writing can encourage them, remind them the good and hard times, make them laugh and cry, and most of all, I pray that the stories will help them to see and taste that the Lord is good - Psalm 34:8

I read an encouraging post on homeschooling today titled: Generations Learning at the end the author wrote a profound message: "I discovered that when you choose to live life differently from the majority,  you’ll always receive strong opinions and criticism.  I’ve learned that those opinions often stem from fear.

Every generation is busy creating their story for the next, and I’d like to encourage you to write the best story you can.  Establish a strong foundation where real-life stories and learning never end.  I’m often reminded that it’s better to stand up and be a leader – life is about setting the example –not follow.  The example can last for generations; you just have to decide what kind of example you want to set.
