Oatmeal for breakfast

I haven't post recipe in a while. So starting with this one, the next few posts will be on food and food and food. Since last year Oatmeal has been been on our regular breakfast menu. Turned out easy and quick to prepare:



Oatmeal for Breakfast
1 cup of milk
1/2 cup of oats {I use Old Fashioned Quaker Oats}
a pinch of salt
Topping idea: honey, chocolate chips, raisins, blueberry, strawberry, raspberry, apple, and so on



Method:
Pour the milk into a small pan, add salt, and bring it to simmer
Mix in the oats, reheat to boiling, stir occasionally 'till the oats are soft {about 5 minutes or so}
Move the oats to a bowl then add your favorite topping
That's it. It's now ready for you to eat.
