What I buy at Asian Supermarket and what I cook with them

I go to Asian Supermarkets every 2 to 3 weeks to buy things that I cannot find at Farmer Market or Costco.  I like to get the meat from Japanese or Korean Supermarket, where they sell better quality in smaller quantity. For sauces and other Asian foods, I usually get at Chinese Supermarket, which usually offer better price.

 The pictures below are from multiply trips so pardon the double pictures of some ingredients.

1. Dried Seaweed for soup
2. Shallots
3. Garlic
4. Haiga Rice: the middle ground between white and brown rice.
5. Condensed milk for Cold Brew Coffee
6. Tomatoes Sauce for Red Soup, Spaghetti or Lasagna
7. Rice Seasoning to make sushi
8. Sambal Oelek to make Chili Prawn
9. Anchovies, I started buying this after reading Vicky's post here. I usually add this on stir-fry dishes as flavor enhancer.

4. Beef Shank: I use this for beef soup/ stew: Daikon SoupBeef Bourguignon
5. Chicken for any chicken dishes such as Lemongrass ChickenWorcestershire ChickenKalasan ChickenHainan Chickenor Teriyaki Chicken
6. Beef Bones for soup broth

1. Sesame Sweet Rice Dumpling
2. Bananas
3. Picked Sour Mustard and Marinated Bean Curd for stir frying
4. Tofu for Mapo Tofu
5. Chayote for Sweet Sour Soup
6. Beef Shank

 What to buy at Asian Supermarket
1. Dumplings: hubby's breakfast on weekend.
2. Bread to eat with homemade jam
3. Meatballs for soup
4. Fried tofu also for soup
5. Pho noodles for Vietnamese Beef Noodle

1. Ginger Drink
2. Peanut Sauce for Indonesian Salad, Chicken Satay, or Siomay Sauce
3. Dried Bean curd Sticks for soup
