Home Tour: Sewing Corner

Saturday, December 14, 2013

We live in a two bed rooms condo so our space is pretty limited and we make use every corner in our house in order to make it work for us. I love small space though and don't mind living in smaller one especially after seeing this lovely 665 ft. cottage:

When we renovated our kitchen last summer, we sold our big desk on Craigslist and moved our desktop computer to my sewing nook. My husband then generously offer me to use the den inside our master bed room as my sewing space/ corner/ nook and I get to enjoy this view when I lay down on my bed:

I love the fact that the sun light flood into the room every morning

Used spaghetti sauce and baby food jars make lovely containers.

Every one has weakness, mine are babies, good books, and pretty fabrics. Ahhhh...

I found this used antique table at Craigslist one day. It was exactly what I was looking for: small, solid, has lots of compartment and very reasonable price. The only problem was: we have to drive down 1 hour from our place. We ended up combining the travel to pick up the table with a field trip to an aviation museum in the area.

Behind the table is a little space where the kids can hang out or read as I sew {it never happen by the way}. They like to watch the sewing machine moves as I sew or just play elsewhere rather than in that in that tiny corner.

That's it. Thanks for stopping by!
