He is still speaking

Monday, June 9, 2014

This year, I use this One Year Chronological Bible for my daily Bible Reading.

One day, I was reading through the Psalm and the following verse from Psalm 9:1-2 caught my eyes:

Later on that day, the kids and I were going through their devotional reading for that day:

Let's take a closer look of the verse at the bottom:

Coincidence? I don't think so. He still doing it from time to time just to make smile or let me know He cares.

Another time, I read this portion of Scripture, and these following verses jumped up from the page:
Isaiah 40:28-31
"The Lord is the Everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth.
He will not grow tired or weary,
and His understanding no one can fathom.
He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak
Even youths grow tired and weary and young men stumble and fail;
but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
They will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint." Isaiah 40:28-31
"So do not fear, for I am with you;
Do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you;
I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."
Isaiah 41:10

A few hours later, a dear friend sent a prayer request because her dad got into accident. I knew then God gave those verses for me to share with her.

He still speaks; if only we would take time to read and listen....
