Max and His Car

Friday, March 5, 2010

We are blessed with generous friends who kindly let Max borrow their kids toys once they outgrown or no longer play with it. About 80% of Max's toys are hand-me-down and we're loving it! :) As ones who have been blessed with much, we try our best to pass on the blessings to others. Most of Max's stuff that he already outgrown are out of the house, being pass on to other babies.

Here is one toy that Max got to borrow: a fancy colorful car from Cici Katelyn.

Now Max got to ride his car whenever we walk around the neighborhood. I grabbed Chris camera one day to take this shots:

First thing first: get the mail from the mailbox

There is no mail today mommy but you got smile...

Then off we go

Stop before crossing the road

He was annoyed at me who keep taking picture instead of pushing the car

Picture speaks 1000 words

There's a big American church nearby where we live. They open their playground for anyone in the neighborhood to play. I think it's very neat and kind of them. We park the car on the parking lot then off we go to the playground. Notice the wheels don't have rubber yet this was before Chris installed the rubber.

Look at me, mom!

He stopped to clean his hands a few times - must get mommy's clean-freak gene

Off to the slide

My curious boy who like to see, touch, and experience everything. Chris and I agreed that he must inherit his grandpa/ my dad super "iseng" (dunno the English word) & curious gene. I like to add that he got grandpa' strong headed gene as well. Although we must admit that both Chris and I are strong headed too. :)

He then remember his car so we went home right after I took this picture

Mother’s Prayer taken from the book: Wisdom for Mothers by Denise Glenn:
“ Lord, thank You for Your marvelous gift – my precious children. What a privilege You have given me to be their mother! Oh Lord, today remind me all day long of the blessing of motherhood. Open my eyes to see beauty in the small joys and tiny victorious as I watch my children today through Your eyes. Lord, open my heart to whatever You have planned for their unique and special lives. In Jesus’ precious name. Amen."
