DIY: Sperm Whales

This is one of those projects that's totally unnecessary but so rewarding. I found this book at the library.

When Wes saw the cover picture, he immediate said, "I want it. Please, ma. Can you make it for me? Please..." Who can possibly say No to this:


So I borrowed the book, which has the pattern and step-by-step tutorial. The boys chose the fabric for their whales then off I went to work that evening after dinner. They kept checking and couldn't wait 'till I am done.

Finally, their new sleeping companions are done:


They each keep saying, "I LOVEEE it. Thank you, ma. Thank you!"
