Stir-Fried Tofu and Pickled Sour Mustard

My local mom cooked this dish for me one afternoon. Both Chris and I grew up eating pickled sour mustard so we loveee this dish.


All of the ingredients can be found at Asian grocery store



put the pickled sour mustard inside a strainer and rinse them

 Stir fry in a pan

Then voila:


Stir Fried Tofu and Pickled Sour Mustard

Ingredients:
3 Tb oil
2 shallots - chopped
3 cloves of garlic - minced
1/2 red bell pepper - cut into squares  
1/2 pound of ground pork {optional}
1 package of pickled sour mustard - put inside a strainer, rinse, then cut about 1 inch horizontally
1 package of baked bean curd - cut into squares
1 Tb oyster sauce
3 Tb (or more as prefer) sweet soy sauce
1 tsp fish sauce {optional - just because I like fish sauce :)}
Dash of pepper and sugar

Directions:
Heat the pan then add the oil. When the oil is hot add the shallot, bell pepper, and garlic. Cook 'till fragrant.
Add the ground pork, continue stir-frying ‘till the ground pork is cooked
Add the pickled sour mustard, then continue stirring while adding the oyster sauce, sweet soy sauce, fish sauce, pepper, and sugar.
Toss in the tofu. Continue stirring 'till all the ingredients are well mixed.
