Work

I was working from home during tax season. It was very tough at the beginning but we survived - thanks to the loving support and prayers of hubby and sisters in Christ. I prayed and learned a lot about managing my priorities and time.

Now, that tax season is over and I am back to be a full time homemaker, I know I can make time to continue to learn and grow as a person, wife, and mom. Here are some things that I want to learn/ do:

  • Work on seven virtues listed in Titus 2—loving our husbands and children, self-control,
purity, working at home, kindness, and submission— Inspired by the book: Feminine Appeal by Carolyn Mahaney
  • Learn how to sew. Chris didn't let me buy a sewing machine 'till I can prove that I will make use of it. I asked The Rediawans and they kindly let me borrow me their unused sewing machine. Thank you! My goal this week is to shorten my two pants. Got the instruction video on youtube.
  • Review my Chinese lesson. I have to review what I learned on the past. Max is catching up quickly. He already understand pai pai shou.
  • Memorize Scripture
  • Exercise daily.
  • Continue learning about parenting & motherhood
  • Continue learning about personal finance/ money management.
  • Learn how to play piano. My goal is not to be expert but just to be good enough to be able to play for my personal worship. Maybe I have to go to Fonda's house often to be able to practice with her new piano. Hmmm...
